What Life Wants

A Million Years from Now

 

From the perspective of eternity, the average human life span is very brief. A blip on the timeline of Life. A million years from now, who will remember the deeds of the little hiccup that was you?

You will, for one.

You know that you are an eternal essence living part of your life in a physical body on planet Earth. Even with your minuscule life span, you are nevertheless supported by the Infinite Power of All Life. This was true a million years ago and will be true a million years from now. Your capacity for greatness is only limited by your understanding of this fact.

The Power of the Infinite runs through everything. This Power is always available for you to tap into. When you dissolve into the eternal energy of your Higher Self, you allow this Power to flow through you, filling your entire being with high vibrational energy.

The mystics and saints recognized this... but in truth, it is available to everyone.

Imagine what your world would be like if all humans allowed the Power of the Infinite to fill them as they lived from day to day. Imagine the impact on life everywhere.

Even a million years from now.

A Little Bit of Pain

 

You recently had some dental work done and are still feeling a few residual twinges of pain from all the poking and probing. The same thing happens when you awaken the sleeping giant in your life. As you enliven the Divine essence within yourself, the shadow aspects of your life dig in, stabbing at the Light that would diminish them.

While you are aligned with the Divine Aspect of your being, you feel blissful and in harmony with all. This is easiest done when you are alone and quiet. When faced with situations or people you have difficulties with, what happens? Do you stay serene and connected with your Higher Self... or slide into your previous ways of handling things?

And then, when you realize what you have done, you feel remorse, because once you acknowledge your inner divinity, you are aware of this new ideal to strive for... and of how your old behavior palls in comparison.

These are the "growing pains" of awakening to your own Light. And a signal that you are absorbing more of it than you realized. Do not stay in guilt for long, however, for it will suck the life right out of you.

As long as you understood the lesson and learned from it, the shadows will begin to go dormant and the Light will continue to expand.

Truly.

The Six Million Dollar Vibration

 

Over the weekend you revised your vision board and included a picture of yourself holding a check from the Florida Lottery for $6,000,000. How do you maintain a vibration that can manifest that amount of money and still function in your day job, go to the grocery store, travel the roads and do all the other mundane things that seem to be expected of human beings?

In fact, your visualization instructor had previously revised your vision board showing a picture of you winning $189 million. But that seemed too big a stretch for you. Somehow a six million dollar vibration seemed more plausible.

In reality, the dollar amount does not enter into it.

It is strictly about your energy and whether you are aligned with your Divine essence - in your vortex - or not. When you "dissolve" into your Higher Self, anything is possible. The trick is maintaining this connection and the positive, uplifted feeling that comes with it.

The only thing holding you back from winning a $189,000,000 jackpot is your belief that you are not worth that much... or that it is somehow out of your reach. Or that you cannot raise your vibration another 183 million dollars' worth.

Silly, isn't it, to lowball your value when the sky really is the limit. And doesn't it give you more incentive to do everything in your power to maintain a high vibration until the next Powerball drawing? And the next, if need be?

Revise your vision board. The six million dollar woman is raising the stakes.

Singing a New Tune

 

The concept of "Higher Self" is not an easy one for humans to wrap their minds around. The idea that a greater part of your essence resides outside of your physical being seems to strike a blow at the ego with your name on it.

And so you struggle through life on your own, not realizing that there is a Divine part of you whose energy could lift you into a happier way of living. It feels like a Catch-22 sometimes. You have to raise your vibration enough to meet your Higher Self halfway, but unless something triggers you to do this, you stay stuck in your rut of negative energy.

Illness can be a trigger, or a near death experience. Sometimes a beautiful poem or piece of music can lift you up momentarily to sense a new energy around you.

Once you have felt this vibrational shift in your energy, you want more of it and begin to find ways to bring the magical feeling back.

Your search for bliss begins. Books, classes, meditation circles, intuitive readings... a lot of busy work that was fun and gave you some insights, but hardly ever got you in touch with your Higher Self.

But every once in a while, you would come across a teacher or writer who "spoke" to you, whose words contained an energy that pierced your resistance and allowed you to slide closer to the essence of your Higher Self. You recognized when this happened and were grateful for the blissful boost.

And it dawns on you, an inspirational writer of sorts, that one day you might craft a poem or a story that does the same for someone else. That dissolves the barrier between the physical and the eternal aspects of a person and allows a blissful respite, a moment of inner peace in a mundane, hectic life.

The world is in need of new tunes like this. Uplifting poems and enchanting stories.

Dissolve and write. It is time.

Marketing from the Perspective of Eternity

 

When you are starting a business or adding a new component to an existing business, you must expend some effort - and quite a few dollars - letting people know about it. Positive word of mouth is the best advertising you could hope for, but you still have to get your product into enough people's hands so they can talk to others about it on your behalf.

Now that you have three Kindle tutorials available at Amazon, it is time to get serious about a marketing plan. A plan designed from the perspective of eternity.

You begin with the end result - knowing that thousands of your e-books are sold each month. You see the online reports showing increasing sales, as buyers tell others about your helpful how-to's.

You created your products with love while in a state of high vibrational energy. Feeling at one with your creation gives it the best possible launchpad. Offer your e-books to a few key players who would find the information useful. Visualize them telling many others just how wonderful your tutorials are.

Marketing should always start with the visualization of success... with the feeling of gratitude for many buyers enjoying your work. With the certainty that your products are created with excellence and love. Then, and only then, do you create a "practical" plan for making your product more visible in the third dimensional marketplace.

A vision board - and the contemplation that goes into the making of it - will help you draw your ideas into place and give your product launch greater energy. You want to be in your vortex, aligned with your Higher Self, while planning anything to do with your business. The ideas will flow and your plans will come together more easily.

That's the secret to success in any endeavor, really.

 

 

And Now For the Best Part

 

You have been focusing on vision board creation for the past week and, while you may think that it doesn't start to work until your board is completed, the good news is... the energy has been building all week during the creative phase. With each log cabin picture you chose and each million dollar bill you colored and then pasted onto your personal vision board, you began to draw those ideas into your vortex of creation.

Now the trick is to remain in a high enough vibration to see those dreams and visions fulfilled. But then, again, that's what the vision board is for... to keep the energy swirling around your desires and speed them into manifestation.

Concretizing on paper what you have been seeing in your mind's eye gives the Universe the message that you mean business. Planning a board like this also allows you to review what you really want. If it doesn't feel true for you, don't stick it on the poster.

2012 will be a turning point for many people. It certainly will be for you... and you are making sure that the changes are in alignment with who you are, rather than a frantic adjustment you were not expecting. Each person has such a choice.

And to each person, we would say, "Go with your dreams. The energy is already swirling."

The Divine in Everyone

 

What your politicians would label as "terrorists," others might describe as "freedom fighters." It is a matter of perspective. You do not care for the war-mongering rhetoric of certain presidential candidates. Others cheer them on. Can both viewpoints be valid?

Or does any of it even matter in the grand scheme of things?

Does the Infinite Spirit judge people, perspectives or viewpoints as to which are "right" and which are "wrong?"

No. The Infinite sees the eternal spark of Itself in everyone and everything. As humans evolve into higher consciousness, they will also begin to see Divinity at play everywhere.

So bless everyone who rubs you the wrong way and ask forgiveness from everyone you have offended.

That's how you get a do-over while you're still in physical form. By shifting to the perspective of eternity.

Cabin... or Mansion in the Woods?

 

In creating your vision board for 2012, you have been cutting out photographs from various magazines looking for just the right log cabin design to focus your attention on. The designs range from basic one-room huts to elaborate, multi-floor luxury cabins.

Your visions this past year tended toward a simpler design, with your main requirement being a writing porch. But the fancier cabins in the magazines made you stop and think. Do you "settle" for what you saw in your mind's eye... or upgrade your ideal by gluing a snazzier version on your vision board?

Let us look at the reasons you were planning to head for the hills in the first place. Was it to enjoy life inside a huge cabin or to spend most of your time outdoors with Mother Nature? Was it to amplify "stuff" or to simplify Life?

You already pasted a large, multi-room cabin on your vision board and are having second thoughts, because it is not truly the cabin of your dreams. You want to make this right for you. You want to make this right for sustainable living. You do not want to hire extra people to help you look after a mini-mansion.

Quality, not quantity is the ideal here. Building materials that will last generations. Windows that keep out the cold. Solid foundation and roof. You can get these in an elaborate home as well, but you also want a house you can easily heat in winter, easily clean, easily repair. With the word "sustainable" on your vision board, you know what the answer is.

You want your vision board to resonate with your dreams and visions. You want your cabin to feel like home. Take another look at cabin designs. The physical building will manifest more quickly when your feelings are in synchronicity with your focused attention.

Glue is cheap. Let's get it right.

"When the Dog Bites, When the Bee Stings"

 

"I simply remember my favorite things, and then I don't feel so bad." This advice sounds like an Abraham-Hicks lesson, but it actually was written for the 1959 Broadway musical The Sound of Music. What goes around...

Pivoting attention away from the negative toward the positive instantly raises vibration. Raising vibration is, in many ways, a safety measure. Manifestation follows the path of your strongest thoughts and emotions and if those are focused on "debt" or "feeling poorly," that is what you will tend to experience.

Right now many people on your planet are worried about the Mayan Calendar and endings. And so, many will experience just that... a way out. Others are fearful of the economic meltdowns around the world. And while that may occur on a global basis for many... it does not have to affect you personally.

You know many people who are envisioning a new earth, where peace and love prevail, where every person matters and where freedom and truth form the foundation of life. You also know that higher vibrating energy consumes and transmutes lower vibrating energy.

And you know now what you must do.

It's such a simple thing, really, to alter the direction of your mind. But it does require some discipline to pull your thoughts and emotions out of a downward spiral.

This discipline is what will keep you safe in times to come. Do not allow yourself to jump on the bandwagons of doom, gloom and blame. Instead, be a light in dark times.

Remind people of raindrops on roses, of blessings and happiness... and of the truths that should be self-evident.

And of following a life-sustaining dream. Remind them.

A Question of Responsibility

 

An Italian cruise ship sank last week, on Friday the 13th. Yesterday you read the word-for-word transcription of a conversation between the cruise ship captain and the port authority. It started you thinking about the concept of responsibility and how far it goes when lives are at stake. Was the captain obligated to remain onboard and potentially accept his own demise or not?

In a word... yes.

The captain is the pinnacle of authority on a floating vessel. He or she is ultimately responsible for all that transpires aboard the ship. This is not a negotiable issue. The buck stops there.

If a ship is damaged while at sea, the captain organizes the evacuation and rescue effort. This is easiest done while onboard the vessel, not from a dinghy in the water or anywhere else.

When you sign up for a job, whether as a ship's captain, a multinational CEO or a United States Congressman, you bear both the rewards and responsibilities of that job as long as you hold it.

When the attraction of reward outweighs the burden of responsibility, innocent people can get hurt. Examples of this abound.

The people who drowned off the coast of Italy now understand something about eternal life. Things are okay for them. But their families grieve and wonder why they were let down so badly.
